Usage instructions

1. Your MyZip bags do not need to be specially cleaned before first use. You can fill them directly with the food of your choice.

2. Caution! The edges of the MyZip bags may be sharp at first. Be careful not to cut yourself on the edges.

3. Leave part of the zip seal open when using in the microwave! This will prevent overpressure in the bag and the MyZip bags from potentially bursting.

4. If possible, also leave part of the zip seal open when using in the freezer. This will prevent overpressure in the bag and the MyZip bags from potentially bursting.

5. Do not overheat your MyZip bags. MyZip bags cannot withstand hot temperatures! The contents of the MyZip bags must not exceed 70 degrees Celsius. Therefore, do not use MyZip bags in your microwave for longer than one minute, on a low setting.

6. Caution! After heating your MyZip bags, they may be hot, and there is a risk of burns.

7. Please note that while MyZip bags keep your food fresh, they do not extend the shelf life of your food. Therefore, pay attention to the expiration dates of the food used.

8. Handle your MyZip bags with care. Avoid putting sharp objects in your MyZip bag or handling it with sharp objects. The MyZip bag could potentially break.

9. Clean your MyZip bags with warm water or mild detergents. We cannot guarantee the longevity of your MyZip bags if they are treated with corrosive or overly strong cleaning agents.

10. We do not guarantee that your MyZip bags will be completely cleaned in the dishwasher.

11. Store the MyZip bags upright when filled! Although the MyZip bags do not leak easily, this can still happen with liquid contents.

12. Avoid applying strong pressure to the MyZip bags when they are filled! Pressure may cause the MyZip bags to burst. We therefore also recommend closing the MyZip bags with as little air in the bag as possible.
